| Lake Cumberland Speedway Returns to Action on May 13th |
| Burnside, KY (May 7, 2017) After a rain out on May 6th, Track Owner/Promoter Brandon Hardgrove is set to bring back weekly racing series action to the Lake Cumberland Speedway also known as “The Hardcore House of Mayhem” in all four divisions of racing on Saturday, May 13th. Lake Cumberland Speedway is a 3/8 mile dirt oval with both outside track pit area and infield pit area. RACEceivers are MANDATORY to be in use by all competitors while on the track! Transponders are also MANDATORY and can be rented at the track for $10.
The Weekly Racing Series event on May 13th will see Late Models ($1,200 to win) Open Wheel Modifieds ($700 to win), KDRA Super Stocks ($500 to win) and Stock 4-Cylinders ($300 to win). There is a new incentive brought to you by the Track Owner/Promoter Brandon Hardgrove-- There will be a $100 bonus added to the first place prize to any class with 18 or more cars. ***This is for the weekly racing series ONLY!*** --2017 weekly pay off at Lake Cumberland Speedway is as followed;-- Late models -$1200, $600, $500, $400, $300, $250, $200, $150, $125 to start Open wheels -$700, $300, $200, $150, $125, $100, $90 to start KDRA Super stocks -$500, $250, $150, $100, $90, $80, $70 to start 4cylinders -$300, $150, $100, $75, $65, $55, $45, $40 to start ****Note--This is the regular Weekly Racing Show ONLY!!!***** Activities set for May 13th will see the general admission and pit areas open at 4:00p EDT, A drivers meeting at 6:30 with hot laps and time trials to continue shortly thereafter. Admission for the grandstand area will be $15 while kids 12 & under FREE!!! A pit pass will be $30 for adults and children 10 & under $15. 50/50 tickets will be sold. You can pick those up in the concession stand located directly behind the main grandstands.
